SER CERTIFICATION

SER stands for “Structural Engineers Registration Ltd” and is a registration scheme for competent, appropriately experienced engineers to be registered as Certifiers of Structural Design for Building Warrant applications in Scotland.

Christie Gillespie is a Scottish Government approved body for the Certification of Design (Building Structures), consistent with the Building (Scotland) Act 2003. We offer a full SER Certification process for all projects to support your Building Warrant application. 

Our certifying engineers are responsible for ensuring that all aspects for design of the structure of a project satisfy the requirements of the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004. We have registered Certifiers in each of our offices.
