Position Available in Musselburgh, Rosyth or Dundee
Christie Gillespie Consulting Engineers is an employee owned successful and respected Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy, with offices in Musselburgh, Rosyth and Dundee. It has an established network of repeat clients built on a reputation for a high quality of service delivery.
We are currently seeking a self-reliant individual with drive and ambition to take forward and expand our Civil Engineering services sector across the company to support projects in all building and infrastructure sectors of the construction industry. The role can be based in any of our three offices and will involve travel to other offices on a regular basis.
This is a key role in the company and will provide the opportunity to enhance and expand the Civil Engineering service offered by the business through effective project delivery and development of client relationships. We are currently seeking an experienced civil engineer or senior civil engineering technician to undertake roads and drainage design on building and infrastructure projects. The role can be based in any of our three offices and will involve some travel to other offices on a regular basis.
The candidate will operate within the civil engineering team and report to the Lead Civil Engineer. The candidate will have experience in roads and drainage design being able to work on a variety of projects in the housing, industrial, commercial and retail sectors. The role consists of being responsible for the preparation of designs for roads and drainage elements of projects and liaising with the necessary public authorities to gain the necessary design approvals.
