"Since starting at Christie Gillespie as an apprentice I’ve felt welcomed by everybody which has eased the transition from higher education in the work place. I have been supported by all members of staff and really felt like a valuable member of the team from the beginning.

Being afforded the opportunity to undertake part time learning I can develop a foundation knowledge of Engineering while practicing the practical side. Starting with Christie Gillespie in 2022, the progress and knowledge I have gained and will progressively achieve year by year, will give me the confidence in my career to take on challenges.

When being an apprentice you're surrounded by different people and get to see a constant reminder of what you can achieve if you put in the work and look at everything open minded. This gives the chance to have a network of people at a start of your career that can be carried on in the future."
